JJ Film was founded in Copenhagen in 1978 and has, for five decades, portrayed the individuals who shape our world through art, design, architecture and craftsmanship.

JJ Film specialises in portraits of Danish artists, including Olafur Eliasson, Elmgreen & Dragset, Kirstine Roepstorff, Tal R, Jesper Just and Jeannette Ehlers.

We have also portrayed prominent figures from other fields – from handball star Mikkel Hansen to business icon Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller.

JJ Film has also had the unique privilege of portraying the Danish Royal Family from within. We have produced more than 20 films and television series about the Royal Family, including intimate portraits of Her Majesty Margrethe II and His Majesty Frederik X.
