Sif Itona

A portrait of Sif Itona Westerberg and her work Sennepsfrøet for Frederiksberg Kirke. The three-part work in marble and aerated concrete forms a portal around the church exit and draws on the parable of the mustard seed — the smallest seed growing into something vast. Through sprouting trees, human-like figures and repeated gestures, the work reflects on faith; losing it, finding it and carrying it out into the world.
