Towards the Soil follows Dahn Võ, one of today’s most acclaimed contemporary artists, as he leaves the global art world to buy a decaying farm in former East Germany. At Güldenhof, the site becomes a living artwork shaped by gardens, community and nature. Yet restlessness remains, transforming rather than disappearing. The film traces a cyclical movement between grounding and escape, where art and life merge.
